Lookin’ at statues
More composition/lighting practice, trying to get better at visualizing objects in 3D space. I’ll get there someday!
Inside front cover illustration for my book
Coloring is fun
More World Cradle art, yaaaay
This one was a long time coming but I think it turned out aight
Another illustration. Practicing lighting (and drawing lazy backgrounds)
Another illustration based on part of the story to World Cradle, my graphic novel in progress. Aron and Astrid come across a giant mutated fish that may or may not be causing a river’s speed to increase and banks to overflow greatly.
This one I actually had a lot of fun with
Aron fighting a volcano monster. More practice with thinner lines/gradient shading
I need to sit down and really figure out how to draw rock faces though. Lesson learned
More graphic novel stuff/tablet practice. Trying to work with gradient shading now since it looks nice, but it was added after the fact in this case, so next time I’ll start the coloring process with it from the get go.
I’m getting much more comfortable with the tablet now, too. Aron and Astrid look much closer to their pen and ink incarnations here than they ever have when I tried drawing them on the computer before. I’m still playing around with ideal line thickness and stuff, but hey, it’s a learning process.
More graphic novel illustration stuff! An drawing of the scene in which the 2 protagonists meet
More graphic novel illustration stuffs
This time, featuring main characters Aron & Astrid, as well as some sort of…fish…monster…thing? I don’t know, but I had fun drawing it. And that’s all that REALLY matters, eh?
Some arts for a graphic novel idea I got coming through the pipes. Real backgrounds are for chumps
